This is a Close Encounter moment for me. As much as I don't want to take a trip on the dreaded Metro this morning and as much as I don't want to march alone among crowds of strangers, I found myself compelled to go. I've been building a mountain of mashed potatoes in my head all week-except that my mountain looks more like the Washington Monument.

You'll do great. I'm marching with you in spirit!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels.
ReplyDeleteYou will make us all proud! My pink hats will be marching in Madison WI today and I'll wear mine when we go out today. I might have to watch a bit of tv today to see if that march in DC gets coverage. I couldn't bear to turn it on yesterday. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteSending love your way. I am in awe of your efforts.
ReplyDeleteThank you for going!! Im so proud of us. I hope a sea of pink hats send a message.
ReplyDeleteGood for you!!! I so wanted to be there in DC for the march but couldn't quite swing it so I marched in Charlotte with 10,000 other like minded people. It felt amazing!!
ReplyDeleteGo, Deb! My DD marched here today, and the weather even cooperated.
