Fake Isle Obsession
It is not often that I really, really like something that I make so having this small success has made me want to make more and more and more of these hats. By reversing the colors I can get at least two out of the two cheapo skeins of Red Heart. Looking at all of the other multi and tweed combos they offer for $2 on sale, I figure this obsession can go on pretty much forever. Anyone want a hat?

ReplyDeletepost removed because of exteme bad spelling!! half asleep here, was going to ask what red heart was like to knit with.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'll take one! =) Actually, I'll look at your Rav and see what pattern you are using. They are just beautiful. Hard to believe that's Red Heart!
ReplyDeleteGuzzisue, this particular Red Heart was not a problem to knit with. Sometimes it is stiff and squeaky but this felt pretty decent as far as cheap acrylics go. I am certainly not going to compare it to good wool but for those of us who can't wear it on the face it is a good alternative. I also find that a good wash helps soften it up.
