Tools of the Trade

I never could imagine the day that I would have the need for either a ball winder or a swift. I like untangling yarn. I really do. Then one night I watched the tutorial on how to use these little gadgets and I was hooked. It looked like fun to wind up little yarn cakes using these crazy looking doo-hickeys. Of course the real question now is where in the heck I am going to store all this stuff? I need to wind yarn maybe once or twice a year but these things are now permanent residents. If I had any sense I would open up a rental shop for knitters because I got it all and no place to put it.
