I spent the morning cooking a big pot of sweater soup.
I was hoping to tone down that brilliant red Hedgerow sweater that I slaved over last summer.
I bought some Jacquard dye in russet, which is a deep red. It all looked very promising in the pot.

But.....it's still very red. I think it is a better red but I didn't have a scrap of yarn leftover to compare the old color with the new. Too bad. I'm still gonna look like Clifford the Big Red Dog in it. Arf.
