Killing Time

Pup has found a new game to play with an old toy. We're still on the day shift and the days are so looooong. I hate to keep whining but this is becoming overwhelmingly hard even with the help of Little Sister who has come down for the week to help me get him out to about a million doctor's appointments.

I've been playing with these old merino locks in my down time but they are not making me happy.

I didn't get to use any Easter dye on fleece this year and I'm still feeling pretty grumpy about it. I wonder how hard it would be to pack up some fleece to bring with me to wash. Nah... that's just crazy talk. I'm not even really excited about going to the MDSW this year. It seems like a lot of work and I'm sooooo terribly tired.

  1. Whine away, this occasion calls for it. You are doing the needful thing; that has to help.

  2. Have you checked with the County Council on Aging for some respite assistance? You're going to be totally worn out by the time he has his surgery and really needs you. Remember the advice they give on airplanes, take care of yourself first.

    1. We've begged for help everywhere but unless you have the money ($120-250 a day), you'd better be able to put in the time. The waiting list for county financial aid is long right now so we are doing the best we can until Medicare kicks in after the surgery. He will get a 20 day rehab stay then. Hallelujah!

  3. Someday I'll SPIN..
    Prayers for you and daddio….
this is such a stressful time for yOU!

  4. What a silly pup - I hope things get back to normal for you soon!

  5. You are doing a yo-mans job with Daddio I know you are exhausted and I wish there was help for you. You are stronger than you realize. When you get to the end of the rope....tie another knot.
