Shenandoah Valley Fiber Fest: The Critters

Of course, there were sheep at the festival-but not many.

This was a goat fest. I have never seen so many different kinds in one place.

They were all very lively and full of crazy antics. They were definitely used to people and were practically knocking each other down to get attention.

Then there was this guy who wanted to peck at the camera. It's an emu and it's a really big, scary bird.

Speaking of scary, this is a camel and he is HUGE.

I have no idea why someone would own one of these but he was a major attraction.

There were llamas and alpacas all over the place. Some were being led around so you could pet them. I couldn't get through the crowds of children that surrounded them wherever they went.

Of course, there were also lots of little fluffy bunnies to pet.....

...and dogs that chase sheep. Thank goodness Rhinebeck is only a few weeks away. I can't wait to do it all again.
