Klutz

All I wanted was to soft boil a couple of eggs for breakfast.

Instead I ended up with my foot in the sink.

I love my Crocs but they do have holes in them don't they?

Those holes let boiling water soak into my wool handknit socks and burn my foot when I dropped the pot of boiling water. I couldn't peel them off fast enough. Ouch.

If you don't want to see my burns stop here and enjoy the cute kitty.

Oh, dear. I won't be tying on my hard leather skates for a while and we have our first competition on the 14th. Not good. Not good at all.

  1. Nothing worse than a burn! Hope you get relief and healing soon! Treat it tenderly; do you have any aloe?!

  2. OUCH!!!! That's going to be a pain for a while! Coconut oil might help. If that adorable kitty is yours that will be a really good distraction too! :-)

  5. Oh Deb! Burns are so painful, they sting for hours. At least you can knit. So so sorry. Hugs,
