Loose Ends

I'm on my way to Columbus, Ohio with Daughter today. She's got a business trip and I am tagging along. Before I left I had a lot of things I wanted to get out of the way so I could start some simple trip knitting. First I had a little sweater that needed finishing and a matching hat that needed starting.

Then it was the Featherweight that needed it's bottom ribbing completed. Done. Now on to the front bands which have to be picked up first. Ugh. I hate doing that.

Finally Elizabeth needed her last sleeve finished. That's one weird looking piece of knitting.

Her large front bands are not picked up but knitted flat and then sewn on. That's going to be a lot of ribbing which makes it perfect mindless trip knitting. Sewing it all on however, is not going to be much fun.
