It's Not What You Think


 If you dropped by for a visit and saw Daddio looking like this you might be worried.


 He's not sick. We're just carding up some wool.


 Being only days away from the 2014 MDSW, I have the need to play with fuzzy stuff but being indoors, we are taking precautions against any inhaled fuzz. I hauled by fiber tools over there on Saturday and we've been cranking out batts using the many bags of fiber he combed for me last fall.


Every afternoon I spin away making some really crazy looking singles while he pretends to be watching an old movie. He's really napping but I pretend I don't notice.

    Ahhh, fiber is looking good! Have fun at the wool festival! I always wanted yo go to that and never did!

    It's neat to watch it spin up. The colors of the carding remind me of sherbert. I see food in too many things.
