Stick a Fork In It

The machine quilting on Son's quilt is done. I stitched around every ditch I could find. There may be a few I missed but I don't think it matters at this point. I am ready for the big bind off and even more ready for the hand off.

In order to get it done, I had to resort to drastic measures. That's the wire to the foot pedal. Someone liked to chew on it every time I sat down to sew. I taped it with the double sided cat deterrent tape and it worked. New Pup wouldn't come near it after her first taste of the sticky stuff.

She'd just sit there and glare at it the whole time I was working. She's got even with me though-by systematically eating her way through all the pretty pillow covers I made for the pillows on the couch.

  1. Well that's a neat idea. All of our cords are inside the left over cardboard rolls from paper toweling and wrapping paper. Of course that didn't help the scatter rugs any. All of those are pretty much chewed up.
