Spinning a Rainbow

Those ancient Jacob batts I had dyed and carded ages ago were so lovely that I almost hated to tear into them for some Olympic spinning.

I started with the pretty teal during the opening ceremony. I am working on my Olympic knitting during the daytime coverage but at night I am just spinning during the dreadful NBC rehash of the "important" events since I can't see well enough to knit in the dark anymore. Old eyes are no fun. Neither is the NBC coverage of the games. Am I the only one confused? I try to keep up with the events but they are all cut and pasted together in a way that doesn't make sense. Even The Mister was complaining about it.

  1. Agreed, but your spinning is going to create some gold medal gorgeous yarn!

  3. Those are beautiful colors. I can't wait to see your yarn. I'm just the opposite. I knit at night and spin during the day. ;-)

  4. I'm not watching a lot of the coverage but am disappointed in the coverage I do get. Have you tried OTT lights or full spectrum lights for working at night? I think Wally World may have the OTT. I know JoAnn's does, You can check either Lowes or Home Depot for full spectrum light bulbs.
