Girl's Day Out

I am well aware that it is Father's Day and I should be posting about either The Mister or  Daddio, but the way I've been feeling about both of them lately, I really needed some lady time with Daughter. The way I figure it, it is pretty much Father's Day everyday around here. I just had to see what she had done with her new place and her dressing room did not disappoint.

I am totally a Crocs type of gal but when I get to play in Daughter's closet, the Gaga in me comes out. I just had to try these lethal looking things on for size.

Daughter has a weakness for designer duds. She has a shelf full of these famous red soled works of art.

These are her favorites. Me too. We don't share much taste-wise but we both like serious sparkle.

I only had my cheapo camera with me, so you will have to take my word for the fact that the dress rack is also full of sparkle.

She also has a weakness for designer bags. She has an amazing collection of vintage and modern bags and I covet them all.

Her two fur babies seem to have adjusted quite well to the new place.

They were in a very small one bedroom condo. Now they have a much larger, two level, three bedroom place to tear about it.

After my tour, we took off for the wonderland of Reston,Virginia shopping We spent the day in J. Crew, Anthropology and Paper Source. It was heaven. Bad blogger that I am, I forgot to take any pictures of our adventure. I don't get out much, so my excuse is that I was in a retail coma. It was that much fun. We ended our lovely day at Harris Teeter for a salad. Although the trip is a good hour and a half from Tangled Web home base, it was well worth the gas money for some girl time. I need to do this more often.
