My Serendipity quilt is done. Or I should say the quilt top is done. I still have to figure out that machine quilting thing because I am not doing this one by hand. You would never be able to appreciate the work that goes into hand quilting with that allover crazy pattern thing going on.
The corners are what they are. I don't hate them but I don't love them either. With all those pretty stars who is going to be looking at the corners anyway? By the way, don't be too impressed with those stars. They were very easy. Seriously-easy.

I'm still impressed.........it's very pretty!! I know how intense quilting can be. I've tried it a few times so I know what you mean about those darn corners!

I love the border on this quilt, I think it makes the stars stand out even more. And your corners are fine, with all that's going on in this quilt that's the last place the eye goes. Keep us posted on the quilting process.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea to have added some brown to the border. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove the stars and the border is great. The colors are what pop and make the white stars really stand out. Very handsome quilt.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words everybody! I am really proud of this one and as I said before it was sooooooo easy!
ReplyDeleteI also can't take credit for the color scheme. Connecting Threads sent me the materials by mistake and I kept it!
With a quilt like that - no one is looking at the borders. And even if they do, they look just fine!
