Friday Fluff: Washing Day

I re-plied the pink and had finished plying the orange Polwarth so it was time to give them a bath.

Since walking outside felt like walking into a running dryer, I decided I might as well wash all the other skeins on the shelf in my little spinning corner that I had been collecting and neglecting over the past year.

The heat index was 105 so they dried pretty quickly in that blazing sun. Thankfully this blast is only supposed to last a few days which is better than the few weeks the last heat dome lasted.

Pink and orange have now started a new pile where the old pile used to be. I won't finish this bag of pastel rainbow colored fiber during this year's Tour but I will have it done by the next.
