Tiny Needle Tuesday
The Garden of Joy has been a joy to work on this week. One of those little blocks is just enough stitching for one day.
Having said that I did kit up the last of the critter stacks I've been working on for years. Vera's pillow post gave me the bug to finally start turning them in to the little pillows they are supposed to be for display. I might get it started this week.
Here are the last three of the twenty five blocks I needed for the Patchwork of the Crosses top. I'm not anywhere near finished with it though because there is a lot more paper piecing and applique work that needs to be done to the intersections of the blocks once they are sewn together and of course, the border.
Block D10 is now finished and I have to say I really like it. It was not the easiest block to put together but the results were worth it which isn't always the case with Dear Jane. D11, in red, is ready to be sewn together and it looks like and easy one, I am happy to say.
And....how about some happy crocuses? This little bunch is always my favorite. I could almost swear they are smiling at me.
Those crocuses are just so darn cheerful! I wish ours would show up. Your stitching is looking good and I can't wait to see your little pin pillows when you make them.
ReplyDeleteThat Garden of Joy is a joy to look at also! It looks like spring and almost glows, like those beautiful crocuses.
ReplyDeleteI love every single thing in this post! Each project is looking great - and those crocuses!!!! None here yet but I do have snowdrops!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet way to stitch up some flowers! The new blocks are looking good. The crocus look just right for a welcome to Spring!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love the delicate squares in the first photo!
ReplyDeleteThose colors!
ReplyDeleteThe little cross-stitch blocks are so cute and happy! And I do love purple flowers.
