We did a lot of walking in a wonderland yesterday but there was no snow.
No real snow anyway.
I
t's been cold here but yesterday was sunny and bright which was a good thing....
....because someone had to stand outside for a long while waiting to get a turn to sit on Santa's lap. Not this Santa but a living breathing one that was inside a little house. I wish I could share the photos because this little guy got the assignment. His weeks old baby brother was sleeping soundly in his buggy for most of the day and was not impressed with any of it tbh.
Before all that, the little guy wanted to spend a lot of time looking at the giant train set up they have....
....while I rolled Pup in her stroller around the green house. There were miles of poinsettias in every size and color but alas none came home with me. My kitties would think they were a snack as they do for any poor plant I bring into the house.
There were some snowflakes. There were two big sparkly ones that the little Grand wanted me to have for my tree along with some stuffed felt trees and two giant candy canes. A very nice haul if I say so myself. Maybe this week I'll get out the tree.
And.....me and my 600,000 streaming buddies bid adieu to the Eras Tour last night with lots of cheers and tears. Three nights in a row of 2:30 am finales did my brain in but I'd do it again anytime, anywhere. I rewarded myself by ordering some pretty pricey official tour merch because after not missing a live stream for over a year, no matter the time zone....I think I deserved it.
It sounds like a lovely time with Santa and the poinsettias. I'm impressed with your devotion to Taylor Swift and think you definitely deserve a reward!
