In Tandem
I had to break into my other blue/green Kaffe Fasset jelly roll in order to finish my crazy quilt.
Making the blocks one at a time was getting a bit tedious so I started doing two at a time. It's tricky. It's not like you can easily chain piece these blocks but it can be done so I'm doing it. After I finish these two, I'll need three more to make 25. I'm stopping there.
And.....in case you are wondering how those new toys The Mister and I have are working out look at my new fancy cabbage shredder. Perfection. I love coleslaw and it made short work of a small cabbage. Of course, my kitchen looked like it had snowed cabbage when I was done but it was worth it to get a bowl of those finely shredded slivers without grating my knuckles off.
Those fabrics are beautiful and will make amazing blocks. I can't even begin to imagine chain. piecing them.
ReplyDeleteThe cabbage shredder looks interesting and I'm glad it worked so well for you. I love cole slaw but can't eat it since my gallbladder came out. That and popcorn. Both favorite foods of mine.
Blessings,
Betsy
Beautiful fabrics...looking forward to seeing all the pieces come together.
