Hot Stuff

 

It was so miserably hot yesterday we had to turn on the AC. It was also this guy's birthday. This photo was taken in better times for both him and Pup although I have to say we've seen a bit of improvement in the situation in the past few days-knock on wood. 

This soap company has a whole line of mite control products that seems to be working. It takes a lot of time everyday but it's the best results we've seen in a long while. Pup is also looking a bit better once I stepped up her bathing and cream regimen. There isn't a spare minute of the day that I'm not fighting mites. Sigh...

But......in spite of it all, The Mister had a pretty decent birthday. I treated him to his favorite pizza. We rarely get Ledo's pizza because I don't consider it pizza. I call it cheese on a cracker but it's a Maryland favorite and it's what he wanted.

Daughter surprised him with a delivery from Milk Bar. It came right after dinner. Perfect timing. Refrigerated cakes by UPS-I see it but I still don't believe it. What a time to be alive.
