In my future I see lots of purple socks. I said I was going for plain vanilla but I took a detour and went to a pattern that has a little more pizzazz. The temptation to show off my knitting skills was just too strong so I caved. Son #1 requested warm socks for his lady friend so I'm probably still going to have to knit the plain vanillas in a nice sturdy yarn but now that I have broken my own speed record for plain janes, they can wait.
You can never, EVER, have too many socks is something I have just discovered...
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely pattern, off to find it...
