The Big Stuff
I've got only five more squares to edge and my giant Audun throw will be finished. I'm no fan of crochet but I have to admit this was a pleasure to work on. Me and it go way back. All the way back to 2021.
When it's done I'll be starting my Hue Shift Afghan. The kit has been sitting here since Mother's Day 2022.
And....as soon as it's cold enough to have this handspun monster on my lap again, Garter Squish just may get a few more rows longer this winter. I started it in 2022 also. It must have been the year for big things.
I sure like how Audun is turning out. It will surely be a treasure. Although it's taken awhile, I'm impressed.

Wow the blankets look stunning. I also have almost finished a project that has been on my needles for 6 months. It is a great feeling to be done with such a large project.
ReplyDeleteAll so pretty and colorful. I can't seem to get motivated to do anything with the Granny Squares I have knit...or even make more of them!
ReplyDeleteI'm still contemplating some sort of blanket in 2025, and you've got two on the needles and one more ready to go. Audun is lovely and I look forward to seeing Hue Shift.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom dyed up a whole bunch of yarn years ago to do Hue Shift but she never actually knit it - lol. Audun is going to be amazing when it's finished!
ReplyDeleteApparently so!
ReplyDeleteYour Audun throw is absolutely beautiful! I love all the colors.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the completed afghan!
ReplyDeleteGood job sticking with it!
WOW! That's a record breaking WIP! And gorgeou!
