The only way I get anything done around here is to make sure The Mister has plenty to keep him occupied. I'm not happy that he's almost finished the Santa puzzle this early in the month but I was ready for it.
It only takes him about 20 minutes to get the day's advent pieces put together so it wasn't exactly the respite I was expecting. He's halfway through it now.
And.....I also made sure he had a Christmas Paint by Number to work on. I've got a stocking KAL to keep up with and a quilt that needs finishing. I need the time.
The Santa puzzle would have driven me completely bonkers but the new one is so pretty, that even I might enjoy that one. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to work on all of your projects while he puts the new one together.
Blessings,
Betsy
That new puzzle is pretty and I hope it takes Mister a good long time to put it together. When my husband retired, he asked me what were we doing his first day at home. I told him that I was doing laundry and knitting, but I wasn't the cruise director and he would have to occupy himself. So far, it's worked (most of the time). Here's hoping you get time for your stocking and quilt!
ReplyDeletei do not have the patience for jigsaws!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the puzzles do the trick!
ReplyDeleteLooks like your DH is good at puzzles, even the hardest ones! Good luck with those finishes.
ReplyDeleteThere's a Willie Nelson Santa up there --- something in front of him with "92" on it. And the trees on the Advent puzzles are SO pretty.
