I almost finished Jack this year. I really could have but I didn't. Over the years, he's become a tradition more than a project. I want to be able to take him out again next Halloween to work on instead of just throwing him in the pile with all the other finished pieces. Having said that I just realized I don't have a winter piece to work on anymore. I finished it last year. Time to go looking for a replacement.

I'm glad Jack will see another year! And enjoy all of your gifts; it looks like Christmas at Halloween.
ReplyDeletePlease post pictures of the retirement ceremony.
ReplyDeleteLol......it will be chili on Sunday!
DeleteYou have some lovely socks - and one finished pair. There is nothing like a new pair of socks. Hang onto Jack for another year and enjoy the goodies.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed seeing Jack over the years and I'm glad he won't disappear. And...what a great package of patterns. I've never heard of a tailor's press, (or clapper either). Such a fun and useful gift.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
I was hoping you would finish Jack and make him a pillow! Next year for sure! I use the clapper for block with many pieces--it helps a lot!
