To Market, To Market
When I wasn't making a mess in the soap room this weekend I was out at the Farmer's Market. I didn't know pumpkins had puppies but there you have it. That's quite a litter.
There were tables and tables of gourds. They must be fun to grow because every vendor had them.
The apples have been very good this year. I've been eating one a day.
These mum containers that combine several colors are gorgeous. If they didn't become deer food around here I would have bought some.
I said I wasn't going to buy much but ended up having to put Pup out of her stroller so I could get everything back to the car.
We always take the long way around to go by the water. It was a cool, gray morning and the bay looked ominous. We had a nor-ester coming our way so this calm didn't last long. There were rough seas ahead. Yesterday was wild.
And....that Lavender Sage soap didn't turn out too badly. It's still softer than I like so I broke down and ordered those costly hard oils reminding myself that if I can spend a couple of hundred dollars a month on cat food, I surely can afford a pound of cocoa butter.
