September

 Ahhhhh...... in the early morning, fall is in the air. I am so ready. Everything with more than four legs needs to go. I think I am winning the bug battle but none of it's been fun. Those itches still itch.


 We've had some decent weather in the past week or so but I am still glad to see summer and all it's muggy buggy days history.



I want a hot cup of tea and socks on my feet. When I go outside I want everything covered. I'm not looking forward to winter but a little frost would be a good thing.

    We won't cool off until later in October, but I still LOVE September 1. It has such PROMISE of fall.

    I am not ready for cooler. I Love the heat. We've had such a short summer in Chicago. We had tiny flying things on us on the porch last night...sigh...perhaps a frost would kill them and then we could have indian summer

    I'm oddly excited about September as well. Usually I'm more of an October girl if that makes any sense. Your cross stitch is really coming a long!

    I'm enjoying the mornings but the afternoon heat, not so much. It's so dry here, everything is crunchy.

    Summer went way too fast for me; in fact this whole year has flown by a warp speed! Amazing, isn't it, how long itchies last? Hope yours are on the wane well before the frost comes!
