Woolly Thursday

If you look over on my sidebar you will see a new little button. It is a link to a virtual spinning group I recently discovered (thanks to Guzzisue) and I couldn't have been happier to find it. Since I work pretty much in isolation here in the middle of nowhere, finding like minded folks always makes me want to do a happy dance. On the first Wednesday of each month, everyone posts about their woolly experiences and then we link them together. I just so happened to have been having a very Woolly Wednesday yesterday so I threw my link in the ring and have been happily reading everyone's adventures ever since. I can't wait until next month...

...because I've got a shed (and at the moment, a bathtub) full of woolly stuff and I haven't even been to Rhinebeck yet!

  2. Welcome, we'd love to see you each month. That's the idea of Spinspiration to bring us together even when we can't physically be in the same room. Sharing, inspiring each other.

Interesting picture of fibre in the car - I can see the crimp, looks lovely.

I'd love to hear about your trip to Rhinebeck when you go, have heard good things and would love to go one day.

  4. Thanks for sharing this new site, I love the idea of sharing spinning projects and ideas. I'll explore the site this weekend.
I've noticed that your sidebar still has my old blog listed (woolyknitsnbits), I'm now posting under myzenitude(dot)blogspot. Hope you'll come and have a peek when you're not knitting!

  7. Welcome to the party! I'm desperate to find out what's in the bag! Even after packing over half a tonne of fleece the other week I still excited by the sight of a fleece.
