Conclusions

It's not to hot to sit inside all day and knit so my chain plied socks are almost complete. I am going to miss working on them.



Each time I ran out of yarn, I couldn't wait to go crank out another batt to dye and spin so I could see how the colors worked together.
Batt #5 got a little loosey-goosey in the plying department. I blame it on the World Cup. I have a hard time keeping my eyes on my work when teams are getting eliminated.




I also need a better plying spindle. The whorls are too small on the one's I own now and wrestling the yarn onto the shaft is no fun after a certain point. I'll be surfing Etsy for something better-as soon as my little pension (gulp) check gets here at the end of the month.
