Road Trip

I've been hibernating from the heat for weeks. After the weekend floods we decided to venture out in the cooler temps to take a spin in Big Red, the new Escape. That means car knitting. Yippee!

We took a morning drive up to the courthouse where The Mister will be having the judicial hearing for his mother's will in a few weeks. He wanted to find his way around before he had to be there for real.

It also happens to be near the dealer where our new tags were waiting.

Me and the dogs camped out in the back seat while The Mister ran his errands. I had an audiobook on my phone to keep me company.

Sitting in the shade with the windows down was not too bad with the light breeze.

We hit up a Walmart for lunch and had a romp with the pups in a shady field before heading home. Good times.

  1. It's always a good day when there is knitting and pups involved.

Good luck to your DH in court.

  2. It looks like a wonderful way to spend the day. I love car trips. Now if my back will cooperate with me, we could take them more frequently. I bet you got a lot of knitting done that day.
