Since my knitting is not going my way I was feeling a bit at loose ends until I remembered I had Miss Chicken tucked away. Wool is wool.
She's getting her tail feathers on. Not without drama though. Those swirls are a bit tricky. I've pulled them out and redid them several times but it's mercifully easy to do.
Ever wonder what the back looked like? Cool, huh?

Love this. And I think the back looks almost as nice as the front.

She is a cutie!
ReplyDeleteShe's looking good!!!
ReplyDeleteSwirl those wools away!
I love that kind of wool embroidery (not sure that's the right word for it), and it takes all my willpower to stay away from it. I love your tail feathers!
ReplyDeleteI love your chicken - so cute.
ReplyDeleteThe front and the back both look terrific! I find that stitching often is more relaxing than knitting and it's nice to that you can see a pattern emerge more quickly - sometimes I need that instant gratification!
ReplyDeleteI love her yellow feet!!!!
