Guess where I am today. Back at Daughter's kitty sitting. She had to take the skating team to Hershey Park this week for a competition and hubby decided to tag along so I'm stuck with the furbabies again. It's just for tonight and then I go back on Friday and stay until Saturday. In and out. In and out.
I'm only there for a few waking hours so I didn't pack much this time. I did bring my paper piecing. It's a lazy project. This is my kind of quilting. I am enjoying TCM's Summer Under the Stars movie marathon so sitting is my favorite hobby at the moment.
I've got my Kindle to keep me company too. This is my summer read from the free book choices we get once a month from Amazon and it's a good one. A cottage on the ocean in Maine, lobster dinners, recently deceased parents, siblings with lots of baggage-what's not to like.

Such a beautiful quilt. I have never learned paper piece and doubt I would have the patience for it. That looks like a good book. I hope you're enjoying your quiet weekend. Blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeleteWow, you have really finished a lot of the squares! It's nice shake up the same old routine, though!
ReplyDeleteMan, I might have to read that one. My siblings and I have tons of baggage!!!! If it is happy and not too depressing let me know!
ReplyDeleteYou can cat sit here anytime!
Pretty yarn - love the ball of yarn in your pocket. Not sure I could walk and knit...I can barely chew gum and walk - lol.
ReplyDeleteThat does sound like a good read!
ReplyDeleteSounds like kitty time gives you lots of YOU time.
ReplyDeleteENJOY!
