The Nurmilintu scarf is back on track after its major surgery. I think I have enough handspun for one more garter and one more lace section.
The Ghazal cowl has to be done. I am out of handspun. Now I have to pull out those provisional stitches and graft it. That's always scary.
The Eponymuff cowl is just a few rows short of also being a done deal.
This week we are heading to the high 70's temp wise. So much warm and wooly neck wear-so little winter. I suppose there's always next year.
Bring your grafting down here. I ♥ grafting! LOL
ReplyDeleteLooks like you will have a bunch of happy dances pretty soon.
I was just thinking as I saw all of your near completed items that it's too bad it's so warm there. Then I read your last paragraph. Your projects all look beautiful, but I can't get over the amazing non-winter you've had back there. Mandy had her windows open and we got a couple more inches of snow! Two years ago today we flew into Reagan National in a blizzard and the airport closed as we landed. You have such crazy weather!

Eponymuff cowl Is very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work on the shawl and the cowls! Isn't it nice to see things come to a conclusion?! Don't be fooled, you will still have plenty of time to wear them before summer hits! lol
ReplyDeleteIt is all beautiful (I especially love Eponymuff). And, I wish I had made my Nurmilintu larger...mine is really a small shawlette, but I do love it. Yes - new year for sure (though I think the cooler temps are coming back as of the weekend).
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your Nurmilintu scarf. Those colors are so pretty together too! I think that pattern would be perfect for what I'm spinning at the moment. You've inspired me!
ReplyDeleteso jealous of your crocuses! It will be weeks before I see if the squirrels left me any bulbs!
ReplyDeleteYour crocus and cowl coordinate colors! I LOVE the greens on the N scarf. GORGEOUS. You are just a workin away!!! We had a glorious 70 degree Wisconsin day. Cats and humans sitting on the screened porch and praying the rest of winter will be over fast. TOday was gorgeous. If we can get one of these every week or two I CAN make it to Spring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful knitting my friend.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think grafting a toe is scary! Love your projects. I want to do the Nurm shawl; it's been on my list forever, so I can't wait to see yours finished and blocked/
