When The Mister is away I usually run through the house getting caught up on my many projects. Not yesterday. Since the weather has heated up it was feeling more like summer so I had a house to switch over from spring. I also had a shaggy dog that needed her summer pup cut and a bath plus a linen closet in desperate need of a cleaning out and loads of laundry.
The wreath on the door even got switched over to summer. I think it's here to stay this time.
I filled up the ice trays, made pitchers of ice tea and coffee and then plopped on the couch to catch up with a movie that I had wanted to watch the other night. Cindy sent me the link to this dishcloth pattern and so I thought I would give it a try at the same time. I was following along with the pattern nicely until the movie plot started to heat up. It was subtitled so this is as far as I got. The movie was a part of TCM's Bleak Week where they are showing some of the most soul sucking films you can imagine. It was Ingmar Bergman's Cries and Whispers and it did not disappoint. It was really, really bleak.
I am glad you got everything ready to watch your bleak movie! That dishcloth pattern looks quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a very productive day. Pup will be thankful for the new cut. I can't watch movies like that. I take them all very personally. Ha!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Always love seeing pup on the blog. You'll have to show her after her glow-up.
ReplyDeleteLove the lilies on your wreath! I guess I better dig out the stuff I have to make a June wreath!
ReplyDeleteYay! For giving the garterlac dishcloth a try!!!
