Tiny Needle Tuesday

Woo hoo....Gobble Gob is finished. I was feeling pretty meh about this one but now that all the doo dads are stitched, I like it.

I finished two more Patchwork of the crosses blocks and got a shipment of needles that I hope will work with all this hand stitching. Right now my hands hurt. I think I overdid it with the afternoon movie marathons.

Dear Jane is covered and the foundation is being worked on but I think I need to give my hands a few days rest before I start the applique. My thumbs in particular are killing me.

  1. Love the stitching. I also find sometimes i overdo on a project and need to give hands a rest. I always think I am going to learn my lesson but so far nope.

  2. The turkey piece is cute. I have arthritis in my fingers, so stitching can be a problem at times.

  3. "Shipment of needles" sounds like a crate filled to the top with what as packing? Hay?

  6. Gobble Gob looks amazing!

I have found that the embroidery is harder on the hands than cross stitch. I'm going to play with a few different types of needles and see if i can come up with something I like better.
