I've been doing a bit of landscaping on the samplers this week. The Winter one got a big pine tree.
This one got the start of a flowering shrub. It's a big one right in the center of the lawn. I suppose that means I am now half way through. Yippee.
I've turned a corner on the quilt but there is still so much to do yet. It's a good thing I like doing this.
Mr. Snowman is not technically a needle project but I am very proud to say I've done a corner of the background. It's the first time I've managed to get any background done and it's actually not so bad. He won't get finished this winter but I'm starting to believe he will get finished.
Mr Snowman is wonderful! He has such a personality. All of your projects are looking good. I need to find a new project for cross-stitch. I guess I could look online for some Christmas ornaments for the grandkids this year. Get them done early and all that! I have some pattern books in storage. Somewhere. And I don't want to wait until after the move to start them. I think I'll be pretty busy for awhile.
ReplyDeleteI opened a new bar of your soap this morning for the shower. It smells SO good. I love opening a new one when one is gone. The smell is always a wonderful adventure. Thank you again for your generous gift.
Blessings,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteNice to see the progress on the samplers but the snowman steals the post--great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat work! I agree with everyone that the snowman is a delight
ReplyDeletewonderful progress on the cross stitch, I've been wondering about using handspun in a latch hook rug... may have to look for some canvas in the depths of my stash :-)
ReplyDeleteOh I love your rugs so much!! Your projects are all fun. But there is something about the rugs that is so quaint!
ReplyDeleteNice work! And you don't even need to water that landscape.
ReplyDeleteFun projects:)
