I've dedicated this weekend to doing nothing. I think I hit the pandemic wall this week. The closer we get to the end (hopefully) the harder it all seems to be. All I let myself do was make more soap, work on a puzzle and take lots of walks. This is Pup telling me she wants to go in one direction when I want to go in another.

I was getting excited about maybe getting the vaccine in a couple of months but now it sounds like there are no more stockpiles of it??? I want to go see Piper in the spring. I'm like you and really getting frustrated. So many people are sick all around us too. I think it's reached the point that everyone knows at least one person who's had it.
ReplyDeleteTake care and hang in there.
Blessings,
Betsy
And now the next county over from us has the first confirmed case of someone getting Covid the second time (a nurse). So even though we thought Bill was now safe, he isn't. I don't think the end IS in sight, I'm sorry to say.
ReplyDeleteCovid must be so hard on dogs - they are so social and just want to love everyone. She looks adorable in her little sweater.
ReplyDeleteH1N1 was tough on my two sons, I almost had to hospitalize my oldest because he got double pneumonia nd pulmonary effusion from it. The only reason I was able to keep him home was my doctor lives two house away and stopped in to see him morning and night. I slept on the floor of his room for a week. It was rough and it reeked havoc on his swimmer lungs. Stay in, stay safe. It is all we can do until this gets under control. I was going to take it easy this weekend but my little one and my dogs had other plans. Think throw up in their crate, which they both got all over them and then picture me giving them a bat outside at 7:15 this morning when it was 57 degrees out. Fun times!
ReplyDeleteWho won the which direction contest? It does seem we've been locked down for ever, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteWE can walk for miles and not see anyone...just as well. We don't want it either!
ReplyDeleteHang in there Deb. Ihave no knowledge of this virus from a nurse perspective. More and more we hear of friends and acquai tances getting quite sick. ThAt adorable pup in that sweater brought abig smile to my face
