I had forgotten that I had dyed some of this wool myself. I saw it on my blog. Go me.
I still have a long way to go. I started this two years ago. Like my Jack O'lantern rug this guy is an old friend who only comes out on holidays. It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just a week away. Gobble. gobble.
Luckily Thanksgiving comes every year, so there's no real reason to finish it now, right?
ReplyDeleteThat turkey's looking great, BTW!!
Nice turkey! I need to dig out my rug out of oblivion.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is. My oldest is coming home, I haven't seen him since August. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteGobble Gobble is right! I love your rug. I don't need another hobby, but I would enjoy learning how to do this.
ReplyDeleteSome of my kids are coming for thanksgiving; how about you?!
ReplyDeleteThe turkey rug is a beauty-one day you will have him finished and pulled out for part of the Fall decorations!
Oh that's such a cool turkey rug you've got in progress! Love it! We have lot's of turkey plans in progress here too. Son-in-law is in charge of the turkeys....he's a master at it...I can almost smell it now! Can't wait to over eat! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a fine looking turkey! And every time you haul out your hooking, it makes me want to run out and buy supplies to start!
ReplyDeleteLooking so pretty ♥
ReplyDeleteOh I love your rug work. And your stitchery. And your knitting oh and your weaving....
