So Long Fall

As November winds down I've been slowly packing away my fall projects.

I'm not ready for Christmas yet. It's too fallish out there for me still but the turkey has to go. I only managed to get one leaf done this year. One.

Also gone for the season is my fall shawl that I've been working on since the beginning of time. I only put on maybe five or six rows this year. Oh, well. I've got lots of excuses and most of them are still sitting in my living room waiting to be finished. More on that tomorrow.

What I really want to do right now is get started on my red cardigan but I am in still ISO the right pattern. Nothing is speaking to me even though I have spent/wasted hours on Ravelry looking at everything they have to offer. No luck yet but new things show up everyday. I'll just have to be patient.

  1. I packed away fall/Thanksgiving stuff today. I need to get out winter things but have no energy for it. It's getting COLD here next week so I need to get myself in the right frame of mind and get it done.

  4. I like a new pattern that Meredith is using. It is a three rectangle pattern? I can't recall the pattern name. Im not ready to put up all the Christmas yet either. But I always get there by the 5th or so!! Plus my kiddos are coming home so that's all the Christmas needed. AL wants lots of decorations and Ill comply for her

  5. Sometimes it seems as if I have too many projects going at the same time and other times I sit on Ravelry and search for that "perfect" project! That's a beautiful red you have ready to use so I hope you find the right pattern!

  7. I'm really feeling this seasonal knit/project method of yours. I like it! I need to adapt this, and not feel weird about a few FOs that I know I'll return to.
