Welcome Winter

We arrived home from Florida at midnight on Saturday morning and then I had my long hour drive home. Whew. I then had to run off to the ice rink Saturday to perform in a show that afternoon which also means wrangling all that scenery. While I am recovering from all that excitement today, I thought I would share something I got in the mail right before I left.

It's my first card of the month kit from Simon Says Stamp.

It's a box of coordinated supplies to make winter themed cards.

Pretty. They should be fun. There is also glitter tape and sticky gems.

It also comes with a sheet of ideas on how to use the stuff for creatively challenged people like myself.

Even better there are video tutorials by the company and by fellow Card of the Monthers who want to show off what they have with the materials.  I am counting on a few quiet snow days to get this started. Mother Nature, are you listening?

  2. OMG! I'm quite sure I would have trouble gettting up on a pair of skates even if I hadn't just come back from a week in Disneyland. As for the snow day....sounds like you just may get it. Next week is looking mighty cold. All I ask is that you keep that snow up there by you. ;-)
