Knitting a man's cardi in sock weight yarn is quite a job.
That's a lot of stitches.
I am down to the very last few inches on the sleeves.
I've had to rip them out and adjust the sizing three times in order to get them to fit in the armhole. Thank goodness for Dumpy Debbie, my dress form. Without her I would never been able to figure out how things go together. I still have no idea if all these measurements and calculations are going to result in a sweater that fits but I have to say I'm ready to try it all again if need be. I'm starting to enjoy the challenge.

Looking good!!! I'm about to embark on that same type of challenge for myself. Now I know who to go to if I run into trouble. Wish me luck.

ReplyDeleteI know it is a lot of work, but those lighter weight yarns sure make a pretty fabric. Looks like all is going well.
