The Traveler is working on some Jacob so I can finish the Crepidula vest-wherever that may be. I packed it away too and can't find it.

Found
As you can see (or almost see, these photos are terrible), I have indeed found the fiber I packed away for the holidays. After my week long Disney Fest I need to return to reality and that means feeling wool fiber in my hands again. First, on the Ladybug I have Wandering Cat's lovely gift. I'm on the second bobbin. I can't wait to see it plied and let it tell me what it wants to be.
Finally the Ashford Traditional wheel is working on my fabulous scrap fiber hat. By now I thought it'd be done but I also thought that it'd be cold out. I hear it got a cold while I was gone and we even had a few flakes but of course I missed them. Today it is back in the 50's-and raining.

I have two 1/2 lb bumps of roving calling me for dyeing so I can spin-it is a good way to calm and refocus. I love the projects you have on your bobbins!
ReplyDeleteThree beautiful spinning projects. The ladybug was put away in a corner while Little Miss was here for the holidays. I'm looking forward to getting it out again too.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry - Polar Vortex is on its way. It's 21 here, so the cold will be on its way to you soon.
ReplyDeleteMy Al is visiting Baltimore yesterday and today with a friend. Love your yellow
ReplyDeleteDid some one say POLAR VORTEX ?!!! That brings back really bad memories! Love all your spinning projects. I need to get my Ashford busy with something too before I have a jealousy issue to deal with. :-0
ReplyDeleteWhoa! You're not exactly idle with the spinning huh? hahahaha.
