Wednesday WIPs
The summer of socks is soon coming to an end and so are these two pairs. After this week's rides up and back for Grand sitting I should be close to the end of both of them.
My colorwork sock and the ski sweater won't be a done deal for a long while. I do two rows a night on each and I swear the house gnomes rip it all out as soon as the house is quiet. I feel like I'm getting nowhere fast, especially on that sweater.
And....ta da. A finish! The entrelac dishcloth is a done deal. I now see what you mean about that ugly top edge, Cindy. Now that I've done it wrong, I should be able to figure out how to do it right on my next go round.
I think your knitting projects are all lovely and you'll soon have two finished pairs of socks. I hadn't considered house gnomes ripping out knitting, but I think that may be what happened here while I was working on some of my Hitchhikers. That dishcloth is beautiful - both the colors you chose and the pattern. Congratulations on successfully entrelac-ing!
ReplyDeleteThe socks look great! And, I see progress in your sweater even if you don't. You've gotten more done than I have. I may need/want to try that dishcloth pattern.
ReplyDeleteThose are some great projects!
ReplyDeleteYour socks are so lovely. I always feel like bottom up sweaters go more slowly but your color work is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm not brave enough to try entrelac
ReplyDeleteLook at all you have accomplished!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your colorwork projects!! The dishcloth is finished--I am so proud of you and like that you will try another one!
