Tiny Needle Tuesday

The only tiny needle that's been in my hand this week has been the one that goes with the needlepoint project and it's not that tiny. I finished the blue ring on the center flower on Sunday.

This is why there hasn't been much tiny needle action this week. No knitting either. I poked a hole in my finger doing too many tiny needle things when I was kitty sitting and it's taking its sweet time to heal. It hurts but it's not serious. It's getting better but I don't want to bother it right now. I'm just getting over a nasty poke on my left index finger from my old punch needle so I know leaving it alone is best for now.

I've got plenty of other things that need to be done in the meantime like making backgrounds for Easter cards for the Grands.

It's nice to have all your fingers working but cutting out bunnies can be done with just the ones that you don't have a hole in.

And....The Mister wants to thank everyone for the birthday wishes. He didn't get high on the roof yesterday but I did treat him to Mexican take out. Next best thing.

The surprise he got from Daughter was the delivery of a Milk Bar cake. It's the new chocolate one and it was good. Very, very good.

  1. Oh my! That cake looks scrumptious! Sorry about your finger(s)...I know those needle pricks/holes can be so uncomfortable and take longer than I think necessary to heal. Hope they heal up soon for you.

  2. I would be glad to trade a few hours of drywall help for a slice of that cake!

  5. Sorry about your finger - those pokes on the ends of fingers are so painful. You never know how often you use that finger until you poke it too much!
