My first paper pieced flower is done. That paper stuff really works. It is great for getting all the little hexagons to line up but I have to admit my whip stitching leaves a lot to be desired. Up close it looks like a Frankenstein flower-with all the little stitches showing through to the front. I am going to have work on that.
I don't actually have a plan for all the little flowers I intend to make as yet. I am not ready to cloud my enthusiasm by turning it into a real project. I am just going to enjoy carrying around my new little sewing basket and stitching a block from time to time.
