The Mister was having a bad morning trying to figure out the ESPN website to fill out his March Madness brackets for the family group so I didn't want to add to his misery by asking him to help me wind on my latest warp. BIG MISTAKE. I made a horrible mess of it and ended up with a tangled mess. How tangled?
This tangled. My winding went sideways and when I tried to pull it back to fix it the whole thing took on a life of its own.
I was just about to cut it all off and throw it in the trash when The Mister wandered in and decided we should at least try to fix it. It took a lot of clothes pins and tying off while we worked on one color at a time but slowly, very slowly it started to behave.
I'm far from out of the woods but a least it was given one more chance at becoming a dishtowel someday. The blame lies squarely on me. I pushed the limits for width on this little loom and am paying the price I fear. That's what I get for being greedy.
The Mister is a hero! I would have had a complete meltdown with that mess!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on what looks to be an epic rescue! I don't think I would have had the patience for that, but I sure hope it works out.
ReplyDeleteThe Mister saved the day!!!

ReplyDeleteYikes! I’m glad you and the Mister were able to untangle the yarn.
