We had yet another rainy day. Too much rain. I did get the Larado fibers plied. I'll show them off when it's not so gloomy.
After the Tour The Mister wanted to get out of the house so we sat in the Burger King drive thru line for about 30 minutes while I knit. It's not like we had anything else to do.
Speaking of knitting, I did figure out the stripe thing on the twofers. I took it back to the last stripe and just had to match it up wasting a lot of yarn. Boooo....
When I got home I wrestled with the Nine Patch and once again sewed myself into a corner. It was time to call it a day.
I don't do this very often in the middle of the day but I had a beer and binged some Sucession where I promptly fell asleep in my rocking chair.
Some days there is just nothing else to do. I really like those colorful socks and that colorful quilt. I hope it's cooling off a bit for you.

Nice that you have so many colors and such pretty ones in your life on these grey dismal days!
ReplyDeleteThe Laredo is beautiful: I love those colors. Kudos for getting the naughty yarn straightened out.
ReplyDeleteThe hint of the new yarn is very pretty! Great job on using the waiting line for knitting time! I never leave home without it-even when I am the driver for just such an occasion! Great job matching up the stripe/knot situation; I knew you could do it!
ReplyDeleteI love the nine-patch quilt. And I'm admiring how square the pieces are!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking part of my problem with squares and straight lines is my sewing machine. It's pretty hard to see the 1/4-inch marking. I need to see if I can upgrade that part.
I loved seeing your handspun yarn on the niddy-noddy. I miss handspinning. It turned out magnificent! I also think the colorful stripy socks are awesome. Good job! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're getting sporadic, light, short rain showers here. I want a day where it's just cool and rainy alllll day!
ReplyDeleteAll your projects are looking great!
