The first couple of weeks of owning my new phone left me scratching my head as to why I needed to lug around this monster. Then I discovered why everyone is always looking at theirs. When I arrived too early and had forgotten my knitting (!!!!), it kept me entertained in the parking lot of the ice rink.
Then it kept me company while I was eating my Ikea lunch all by myself. I'm sold. I like the thing.
The best part was that I could text Daughter this photo of Ikea in full Christmas splendor. She and I both go crazy in Ikea at Christmas. I would have needed a big cart and a million dollars to get what I wanted but I settled for some chocolate Santas and a pretty tin of ginger cookies.
When I got home I had a cute sheepy card in the mail.
It was from Betsy!
She made me this beautiful bookmark. I just look at it in awe. I could never.....
Thanks Betsy. You're the bestest!

That bookmark is just BEAUTIFUL! Betsy did a beautiful job.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe IKEA has all of their Christmas stuff up already. I'm all for Christmas decorations, but sheesh --- not before HALLOWEEN!!! LOL
I told you you would love that phone....I can't live without mine!! Well that might be an exaggeration but it's a pretty big part of my life. I don't go anywhere without it. Oh and that's a really pretty bookmark
ReplyDeleteAwww! You're the "bestest" and always so generous with everyone. We were shopping yesterday and every store we went in had Christmas things out. I'm not ready for it yet but...I've never seen IKEA's Christmas things either. :)-
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
You have slipped to the dark side! lol
ReplyDeleteCell phones are wonderful and awful; just you wait and see-you will turn around for it when you wouldn't do that for anything else, you will search the house for it before you will go to the bathroom, you will ask DH to call you when you can't locate it and curse yourself for turning down the ringtone. And worst of all, you will notice yourself staring at the screen instead of at your loved ones and that will scare you into turning off the screen and looking at really interesting things like family and pups and fiber!
Hilarious...but I'm afraid all too true!
DeleteI now have to go to Ikea....for Christmas cheer when Im ready!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the phone! They are handy little devices and its easy to get addicted.
ReplyDeleteI try to keep mine out of sight, so I dont sit there and play games all day!
I love my phone, maybe a little to much. I am in a panic when it isn't near. Betsy is the best!
