Almost Ready

The second sleeve of my Lillehammer sweater went in perfectly. I have no idea why. As a rule sleeves are a headache and it takes several tries to get them right.

Neither of the sleeves gave me a minute of trouble. The world must be coming to an end.

I did completely goof up the neck stitches that had to be picked up. For some crazy reason I started center back and I really should have started over one shoulder but I didn't realize this until I was so into the neckband that I didn't have the time to rip it out and start over. I really needed this done by....well, tomorrow. This thing is going with me to Rhinebeck no matter what. I can always rip it out later and do it again.

  3. I am so inspired by your Lillehammer! I just finished a Sandnes design for my mom for Xmas, and am thinking of what to knit next.....perhaps it will be Lillehammer! Question, how did the Palette work in place of Heilo? Did you get the specified gauge, or did you just make it work at the gauge you got?

    1. Using the Palette was almost a big mistake. The yarn looks and feels wonderful but I couldn't get gauge so I went with an adult large hoping for something comfy. What I got was a very form fitting sweater that while beautiful is not quite in my comfort zone. I like big and baggy. At least it fits, I really thought it wouldn't. Good luck!
