Neutral Territory
I always have a hard time convincing myself that it is OK to dye white locks gray, brown or black. It just doesn't make sense to me to dye wool the colors that sheep come in naturally.
Those colors are needed for blending so unless all you want is clown barf you have to make yourself some neutrals. It's not fun but it is necessary.
Of course while I had the dyes out, I stuffed some washed non-lock fuzzy stuff into a few jars and added color to my heart's content.
I started dark, then add water and locks to make light and then sprinkled some more dye powder in a different but similar color on top. Here is sky blue with turquoise on top.
That was fun. I definitely have plans to do this type of thing again soon.
