Dad's big projects are in the final stages and will be ready to be gifted soon. My sister and I are doing the hand quilting, but he did all of the planning and cutting for these two Dresden plate quilts. He also used the sewing machine to sew that striped border all by himself. This one is for the granddaughter of a friend of his.
This one is for the granddaughter of a friend of my sister's. It is going to be strange not to have them to work on but I am pretty sure he will find someone else to make one for in the near future-if he hasn't already.
