First up was to take Mini through emissions. Notice she is not in the line to go through the bay doors. Oh, no. She is sitting in the parking lot smoking away. She overheated in line and boiled up all her fluids. What a mess. Of all places. How embarrassing.
Ahhhhh......I will survive.
Lucky for me Annapolis is where the Mini dealer is so when The Mister got there he filled her with antifreeze and we inched our way to the service department where unfortunately we are a familiar sight.
Bye Mini...I hate to leave you once again. I hate the idea that you are going to cost me hundreds of dollars after I just spent $500 on your AC not a month ago. You are a very expensive toy. If you weren't so darn cute I'd be saying my goodbyes for good. The Mister tried to tempt me with a new one to replace you but I am not ready to part ways. Not yet. Not today.
Yes, don't make a big decisions on a migraine day! What would we do without emergency knitting!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you were even able to get out of bed with a migraine! I hope things turn out OK with your little car.
ReplyDeleteUGH ...car troubles are NO fun. Glad you had rescue knitting with you to save the day.
ReplyDeleteHope your migraine is long gone by now and you are feeling better.
Daddio bag to the rescue !! !Phew! That could have been a disaster
ReplyDeleteOh -I totally feel your pain. It was so hard to let Stella go. Silly how attached we get.
ReplyDeleteOh no! So sorry. Hope you are feeling way better now.
ReplyDeleteDang! What a day! Mini sure is a cute little thing. I don't blame you for not wanting to give up on her. Hope she and you are on the mend soon.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a really tough day! Glad you found your knitting to tide you through though, and hope today has been 100% better! Hugs.
