If I can manage to get up before The Mister and the critters I work on my lace border.
I've gotten up one whole long side and have been fiddling with the corner.
I know what I am supposed to be doing to make it form the angle it needs to lie right.
I know it because I read all about it in the fancy book I have on lace knitting-Victorian Lace Today.
Understanding it and making it work are two different things though. There's been a lot of tinking going on which is no fun when you are juggling so many needles. I'll get that corner turned right eventually but it might take a while.

That is going to be gorgeous when you have it done. I admire your tenacity and your perseverance in knitting that tiny lace. I can't wait to see it completed.

ReplyDeleteThat would be over my head for sure but it looks like you've got the hang of it. Very complicated looking work. You're braver than I.
